HRE Construction is always looking for experienced industrial electricians, instrumentation technicians, and project managers to join our team. We operate across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, West Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, and Mississippi, serving manufacturing, processing, and infrastructure clients with high-quality electrical and instrumentation construction services. If you take pride in your craft, value a strong safety culture, and want to work on meaningful projects for major industrial clients, HRE Construction may be the right fit for you.
We hire journeyman and apprentice electricians, instrumentation and control technicians, electrical foremen, and project engineers. Our field employees work on challenging industrial projects, gaining experience with medium voltage power distribution systems, motor control center installation, PLC programming, process instrumentation installation and calibration, and comprehensive electrical testing and commissioning. Whether you are an experienced journeyman electrician with years of industrial field experience or a motivated apprentice looking to build your skills, HRE Construction offers a path to a rewarding long-term career in the industrial electrical trade. We also recruit experienced instrumentation technicians, control system integrators, and electrical foremen who can lead field crews on multi-phase projects.
HRE Construction offers competitive pay rates commensurate with experience and certifications, comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and genuine opportunities for career advancement into foreman and project leadership roles. Our culture values safety above all else, combined with professionalism, continuous learning, and mutual respect between field and office personnel. Employees work alongside experienced tradespeople and project managers on meaningful projects that directly support critical manufacturing and infrastructure operations across the Southeast United States. We believe that investing in our people is the foundation of delivering quality work for our clients.
While specific requirements vary by position, we generally look for candidates with a valid journeyman or master electrician license or equivalent documented experience, OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred), demonstrated experience with industrial electrical systems and National Electrical Code requirements, and a strong commitment to worksite safety. For instrumentation roles, experience with HART communicators, PLC programming platforms such as Allen Bradley or Siemens, and ISA instrument calibration standards is a significant advantage. Reliable transportation and the ability to work at industrial facilities throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, West Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, and Mississippi are also required for field roles.
Safety is not just a policy at HRE Construction — it is a genuine value held by every member of our team. New employees complete site-specific safety orientations, and all field personnel are required to participate in NFPA 70E electrical safety training and our company-wide OSHA compliance program. We support employees in obtaining additional certifications and licenses, including electrical contractor licenses in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, West Virginia, Texas, Kentucky, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and we provide paid time for approved training and continuing education.
